Kristina watches RoadKill's dad describing Kristina's "lies" on a webpage dedicated to Roadkill's memory. Alexis comes in and closes the laptop. Kristina is worried and upset about the fallout.
Dante tells Jason where Ronnie is. Jason calls him a traitor and says that all Dante cares about is bringing Sonny down.
Ronnie enters the hotel room on the island while Michael hides. Ronnie announces that he has a subpoena. Jax stops him.
Carly brings Josselyn to the stand. Really? Claire objects. So do I.
Credits: Jason Cook is counting his free money at home.
Carly lies that her nanny was supposed to pick up the baby but was running late. Sonny is worried because when Carly has a plan, it's never good. Diane, however, wants to see how it plays out. Claire thinks its prejudicial. Carly retorts. The judge agrees with Carly. Carly takes that opportunity to play to the jury saying that the trial is really about Josselyn. How, you ask? Because that's the kid that Claudia tried to steal. Well played, Caroline, well played. Judge calls a recess and tells Carly not to bring the baby back. She leaves the stand, parading Josselyn passed the jury.
Dante says he agrees with Jason that he doesn't want Michael on the stand. Jason doesn't buy it. Dante's all 'whatever,' He doesn't think Jason has done much to protect Michael either.
Jax uses the whole, "oh, the taxpayers are paying for this 'vacation'" argument as a stall tactic. Ronnie fishes; Jax lies. Ronnie doesn't get it.
Molly and Morgan watch Warren's video. Molly is upset that her mom will be going to jail. Morgan has a plan! Cause he's Carly's kid.
Alexis tries to calm Kristina but she whines and cries and talks about how 'nice' Mr. Bauer was....and would it be wrong to want Alexis to slap her? Kristina is worried her mom is going to jail. Alexis doesn't know what's going to happen but she promises they'll work things through. Alexis announces there's something she needs to do.
Jason and Dante? Still arguing. For someone who's made out to be so observant, Jason is so completely wrong about Dante and his intentions.
Jax and Ronnie...blah blah blah. Oh God, this episode is boring. Max interrupts and forcibly removes Ronnie.
Outside the courtroom, Sonny chides Carly for what she did. Carly think it's all going to work.
PCPD, Alexis walks in and sees Warren and Mac arguing. Roadkill's dad thinks Alexis is getting preferential treatment. He asks her why she didn't stop. She says she was in shock, taking her daughter to the hospital after his son beat her. He yells that that's a lie. All this is so unprofessional. They argue about who beat who. Roadkill's dad accuses her of sleeping with Mac to which she denies.
Dante visits Morgan at his request. Dante notices Molly is upset. Morgan tells him about the website. He wants Dante to make it all go away. Dante says it's a conflict of interest since Kristina is his sister. Morgan asks if there's anything he can do to help.
Jason yells at Max on the phone about letting Ronnie near Michael. Max tells him that Jax covered. Jason instructs Max to bring Michael somewhere else. Michael gets on the phone with Jason. He tells Michael it may be over in a couple of days and that Carly will be going on the stand today.
Carly gets sworn in. Diane begins the questioning. Carly describes what happened the night that Claudia kidnapped her. She sells it and Alice and other jury members eat it up. She finishes up the story by lying about Sonny being the one who hit Claudia. Sonny does this weird thing at the end where he shakes his head and I don't know if he's playing modest or he disapproves of what Carly was doing or what. I think they should have ended that scene on Carly's face...
Kristina eerily looks through Roadkill's website and all the pictures of them together. Sam stops by. Kristina guesses that Alexis called her. Sam confirms it. They talk about Warren's website and the man himself. Sam psychologises that Warren is doing the same thing as Roadkill: Being mean to her and then being nice to her...etc...basically fucking with her pretty little head.
Dante tries to explain to Molly and Morgan about Warren's rights. He excuses himself to get back to work. After he leaves, Kristina thinks she knows someone else who can help.
Mac snarks and Warren threatens and Alexis finally asks Mac to leave them alone. Alexis talks to Warren like he's three years old. But the guy is grieving so he won't be taking that. He vows to send her to prison and subtly threatens Kristina.
Carly finishes her story. She said it was her idea to cover up the murder. Claire continues. She picks apart Carly's story. She yells and Diane objects and Carly is the calmest one of all because she knows how to get a jury in her pocket.
Claire addresses the jury directly. Is this closing arguments? Claire talks about manipulation and then continues picking apart Carly's story. She tries to get Carly to trip up and she almost suceeds once or twice. She wants to know why Sam called Sonny instead of Jax. Response: I don't know. Badgering? Sustained! Claire brings up Michael's coma and Claudia's responsibility. Carly gets the right amount of emotional begging the jury not to send Sonny to prison for saving her daughter's life.
Kristina delusionaly says that RoadKill wasn't an evil person. She shows Sam the memorial. Sam tells Kristina to stop romanticizing Roadkill. Sam is worried about Kristina's relationship future.
On to the Restaurant of No Patrons where Conan is a lot taller than Molly! She asks to see Jason. Molly goes in to see Jason. She tells him about the video and asks him to "stop Mr. Bauer".
Diane asks one final question: "Do you believe that you and Josselyn would have been alive today if Sonny had not arrived at the cabin". Carly, "No." Claire has no further questions. Carly steps down. Sonny whispers to Diane not to bring in any more witnesses so Diane tells the judge that the defense rests.
Sam walks in to the PCPD and sees Alexis and Warren arguing. Alexis tries to explain how Keifer beat up Kristina twice but Warren doesn't believe it. He yells loudly for everyone to hear that he's going to make sure everyone knows she's a murderer and how Kristina got beat up because she's "a promiscuous little tramp that was asking for it". Sam's response? Uppercut to the chin! Dayumm! Go girl!
Kristina watches more pictures of Roadkill while remembering her beatings.
Molly tells Jason that Dante couldn't help so she wants Jason to stop Mr. Bauer. Jason: "Are you asking me to kill [RoadKill's] father?"
Morgan gets a call. It's Michael. Michael tells him where he is.
Recess time at court. Diane and Sonny are happy about Carly's testimony.
Claire tells Dante that Sonny is pretty much a free man.
Sonny comes out and thanks Carly and then kisses her. (Poor Jax!) Claire and Dante see it. She tells Dante that they need Michael.

And I just have to share this. It's my niece and my parent's dog.

It's my 50th recap! Congratulations to me!
Dante is relaxing in his new pad with lots of unopened boxes when Lulu comes in with a housewarming gift. A coffee maker! Ok, I missed about thirty seconds here because something went screwy with ABC and it switched to Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Very weird.... Someone's getting fired! Anyway, I can't have missed too much because Lulu and Dante are still on my screen. She asks him why he chose to move in the day of Sonny's trial.
Carly calls for Sonny at his house. She wants to see what he's wearing. Sonny is sitting with drink in hand, sulking and thinking about Kristina.
Sam's sulking, too, at Jason's. He checks on her to see if she's OK. She goes upstairs to change when there's a knock at the door. It's Ethan. Uh...is that a good idea? He wants to talk to Jason because he's the only "Corinthos-connected" person willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Sam steps in front of Jason to ask Ethan if he has a death wish. Seriously, dude.
Credits
Sam goes a little crazy trying to put Ethan in his place. She hardly let's him talk. Jason just stands aside and let's Sam rant until Ethan leaves. She wants Jason to promise he won't listen to Ethan. Except she calls him some other choice words that are not 'Ethan'.
Carly gives Sonny coffee because that's the Port Charles drunkenness cure. Sobers you right up! Except it doesn't. It just makes you an awake-drunk. Give him some water, dude. What's with me and using the word 'dude' lately? Sonny talks about Dante and then talks about his history with abuse. He didn't want it to happen to anyone he loved and he thinks he's failed because he let his daughter go through the same thing. Carly gives him a hug.
Kristina, meanwhile, is sitting at the lake house looking at her black eye in the mirror and flashbacking to the night Keifer beat her. There's a knock at the door and it's Keifer with a big ol' teddy bear that will make everything OK! She lets him in. She's still furious about the beating! The gaul! Keifer has already said he's sorry! Ickkkkkyyyynnnneessss.
Dante wants to get busy. It won't happen. Lulu is too busy asking him why he's missing the trial. They make out. Phone! It's a text from Maxie. Lulu leaves to go see Maxie. When will these two do it? I love that the 'will they or won't they have sex' mini-plot line gets more airtime than Matt doing...anything.
Court Case! Mayor Floyd banters with Diane. He thinks "the good guys will finally win one." Diane: "Where does that leave you?" Slam! Jax meets Claire at the courtroom. He wants to make sure she knows how important it is. Claire's all: "Step off dude. I'm doin' this shizznit for me. Mob Daddy's goin' down." ...Except more Claire-like. Jax likes her confidence.
Sonny has been worried about Kristina since he went off on Claudia. Come on, dude. Go take a shower. Let's get to court. Sonny regrets not killing Ethan. Sonny hates that Kristina is protecting her attacker, Ethan. He's half right.
More icky Keiferness. Alexis catches the last part of this, but nothing revealing. She actually compliments Keifer on his supportiveness. I can't wait till they all find out. I want to see Momma Davis bring Keifer down. I'd rather see her do it than Sonny. Alexis asks Keifer to leave. Before he does, he asks Kristina if he can stop by tomorrow. She says he can.
Jason can't promise not to believe someone if they might be telling the truth. Sam is appalled that Jason believes Ethan which by default means he thinks Kristina is lying. Jason thinks Kristina might be confused. Sam is taking it personally based on her own experiences which Jason understands.
Lisa is juror #3! She talks to Alice, who has fully gone gray, about the case. Alice is excited to see what it's all about. Kate drops Coleman off with a brand new wardrobe. Coleman doesn't think he'll get picked.
Claire wonders aloud to Diane where her client is. She wonders if Sonny ended up running after all.
No. He's just home. Wasting time. Carly comforts Sonny when she should be getting him dressed and shaven. She talks about Kristina and how many wonderful female role-models she has. She uncharacteristically compliments Alexis by listing her as one of those role-models. She finally pep talks him into getting ready.
Olivia brings Dante a housewarming pot roast. Lasagna? That elevator/door is dangerous since it seems like anyone can just walk in. He's still mad at Olivia but wants her to know that he appreciates how awesome she is.
In her hospital bed, Maxie wants to work but Lulu tells her to relax because Kate took the day off. Spinelli sits idly by. Maxie continues to work and then goes into a coughing fit. Spinelli pretty much orders her to stop working or talking. He asks her to put on an oxygen mask. Maxie doesn't want to wear the mask or dwell on the fact that she could die.
Spinelli thinks Maxie is in denial. She thinks it's her business but Spinelli finally mans up and tells her it's their business and they're a team. He rolls off to find and tell Robin of Maxie's latest coughing fit. Maxie gets too excited again but Lulu calms her down. Maxie doesn't want to wear the oxygen mask because she thinks it's the next step towards death although she doesn't use the word. She encourages Lulu to leave the hospital and live her life.
Dante asks Olivia if she knew about Sonny's mom. She said everyone knew to a point. He again appreciates his fierce mom.
Lulu brings Kristina over some gifts: make-up to cover her bruises. Kristina feels broken and Sam tells her the emotional bruises will heal too.
Alexis sees Ethan packing at the Haunted Star. Ethan again says he didn't do it but Alexis wants to know why he's packing. She bleeds her heart all over Ethan who can't get a word in edgewise. She leaves telling him that there's a restraining order prohibiting him from being 500 feet from Kristina.
Lisa talks to Alice more about jury duty. Alice is psyched. Lisa's not and thinks she'll be excused because she's a surgeon. Coleman, too, thinks he'll be excused. The prospective jurors get called in. Sonny finally arrives, fully dressed and shaven and hair newly dyed? Kate wishes him luck after he insults her choice of boyfriends. Inside, Claire starts to threaten Diane regarding Sonny's absence when he arrives. Where's Alexis?
Juror picking time! Claire asks Stoner Juror about his quality of life being affected by the criminal element of Port Charles. Stoner Juror is happy to have Sonny protecting his block. Dismissed! Diane asks Old Crabby Lady Witness about something legal. She doesn't like Sonny and calls him a 'maggot'. Dismissed! Dr. Niles gets questioned next. She says she has a social acquaintance with the defendant because they had dinner once. Accepted! Coleman and Alice prove themselves as unworthy jurors for different reasons. They both get accepted.
Carly tells Jason about how disastrous Sonny was earlier.
Kristina's bruises have been covered! Now she looks like she's wearing way too much purple eye-shadow. A vast improvement...
Lulu needs a hug. Dante is glad to give it to her. She's scared about Maxie. She didn't realize how close Maxie was to possibly dying.
Lulu doesn't want to take anything for granted.
Robin gives Maxie bad news: Her vitals are problematic. She finally accepts the oxygen mask.
Carly asks Jason about Ethan. She doesn't want a war between Sonny and Luke. Jason asks Carly, "What if Ethan is innocent?" Carly asks if that's possible. He tells her about the discrepancy in Kristina's story.
Ethan stupidly comes to the lake house. She warns him that he shouldn't be there because of the restraining order. He asks her why she lied.
Claire and Diane make their opening statements. Claire reveals the facts; Diane agrees that Sonny did kill his wife.

March 1 2010
Welcome to my first day of unemployment! YAY!
Lucky is driving (always a bad idea) and talking on his blue tooth telling whomever is on the other end that he is watching for a possible crime in progress.
Jason and Sam go over the plan. They wish each other luck and go on their separate ways.
Court: Judge Meany wants to give his verdict but he wants to make something clear first. What, judge, what?? Before he can really say anything, Carly comes in and objects. At what? She says this is all about her husband getting revenge on her ex-husband. *sigh*
Credits: Even Jason Cook doesn't know why he's there.
Shooting at the warehouse. Ethan and Johnny are in a pickle. Ethan criticizes Johnny's [lack of] plan. Johnny knows what he's doing except he doesn't.
Crazy is in her room when Nikolas enters. He brings Cam and Jake. She's happy to seem them. Cam wants to know when Mommy is coming home.
Lucky catches Jason in a car that he doesn't normally drive parked next to the court house. He asks Jason for his license and registration to which Jason complies although he doesn't think Lucky is quite serious at this point. Lucky talks about the new Judge and Claire. Lucky asks Jason to get out of the car. He knows Jason's plan but Jason denies it.
Judge wants to know how a non-lawyer can object. Welcome to Port Charles, Judge. Carly says she has information that's vital. Judge wants to hear it. Alexis objects but Judge Meany is in charge! He wants to hear it! She explains the animosity between Jax and Sonny and her involvement with the two of them. She says that people [read: Claire] are swayed by Jax's power and riches. The judge thinks she's hinting at him but she says she's not. Claire interjects but is shot down. The judge wants to hear from Sonny.
Jake's: Patrick doesn't want to complain to Lisa about his marriage except he kinda was. He talks about how the HIV and how it's brought them together but he says there's a barrier between the present Robin and the past Robin. Lisa reminisces about a time when Patrick got trapped outside their hotel room naked which is an image I don't mind conjuring up. They order more beers and ask Coleman to join them in darts.
Sonny gets a chance to to defend himself. He tells the judge that his kids mean everything to him and that's why he's not a flight risk. He mentions all of his children including "Officer Falconeri" who kinda rolls his eyes.
Lucky waits with Jason. He tells Jason that the hearing should have been over by now which doesn't bode well for Sonny. Jason tells him he can go but Lucky is glad to be there so he doesn't have to go to Shadybrook and think about Elizabeth and the baby that may or may not be his. He thinks it's ironic that he's spilling about an affair to someone who had an affair with Elizabeth. Jason wants to know if he can help. Lucky says that the only thing that's clear is that Cam and Jake are still his kids.
Elizabeth has some "happy news" for her sons. She's pregnant! Yay! Cam is excited and Jake just picks at the card they made for her. Takes after his dad, that one. Cam deduces that his mom is at Shadybrook because she's sick. With a baby. She lies and says she's not sick; just tired and that she needs to rest. Elizabeth thanks Nikolas for bringing the boys back and asks him to come back after he drops them off.
Judge Meany wants everyone to get their act together. The verdict finally arrives: Sonny will not have to go to jail for the time being. Court is set for two weeks. Claire "congratulates' the opposing council but says what she learned will help her prepare for the trial. Diane giggles as she leaves. Carly comforts Sonny while Dante and Lulu look on.
Lucky talks about being a dad to Jake. Jason is happy with how Lucky has been with Jake. Lucky thinks the boys need consistency. Lucky talks about what a great kid Jake is and tells Jason he's going to 'do the right thing'. Jason gives Lucky a piece of advice: tell the truth. About what? Who Jake's dad is? Lying is all these people do. Sam runs in and tells Jason that Sonny is still free on bail. Lucky snarks about the coincidence that Sam and Jason just happened to plan to meet there outside the court house.
Patrick, Lisa and Coleman continue to play darts and drink and reminisce. Patrick won the dart game. Lisa challenges him to a rematch. "Loser has to 'up and over'" Coleman wants to know what that is. So do I.
Alexis tells Diane that "we got lucky". Diane thinks it's not a problem but Alexis warns Diane not to play into Claire's hands. Outside the court room, Jax is pissed at Carly: "You certainly left no question to where you stand", he says. Carly defends herself by saying she wasn't going to let Jax railroad Sonny by using his influences. She's pretty much using morality to defend a mobster. Jax pretty much says the same thing and walks away. She makes no sense. Back inside, Dante thinks Sonny will be convicted so it doesn't matter about the bail. Lulu asks him how he feels about what Sonny said about his kids. Dante jokes that it doesn't really have any resonance since Sonny shot him point blank in the chest. Lulu gets interrupted by a call from Kate. She takes it outside. This gives Sonny the opportunity to talk to Dante. He thanks Dante for what he said on the stand. He wants to get to know his son but Dante says it won't matter because Sonny is going to prison. Sonny says he hopes not and walks outside to see Carly. She asks him if he's made any headway with Dante but Sonny says no and that it'll probably have to wait until after the trial. He's pretty confident, isn't he? Claire walks by and tells Sonny to "enjoy [his] freedom while it lasts".
Carly wants to know if it breaches ethics for the prosecuting attorney to threaten the man on trial. Claire thanks Carly for showing the judge her prejudice early on and she looks forward to putting her on the stand. Sonny says Carly was right about Jax. Carly says that Sonny is innocent. Claire has done her research on Sonny and says he hasn't been innocent since he went to work for Joe Scully. She looks forward to convicting him and says it'll make her career. She leaves and Diane walks by. She wants to know what Claire said and Sonny tells her. She thinks Claire may be right and they go off to strategize.
Lulu comes back to the courtroom. She wants to take Dante back to the hospital. Dante flirts that he just wants to take her home. Claire comes in and stops them.
Jason is at the warehouse figuring out what happened there. He tells Bernie on the phone that the whole shipment is there except for one thing. What, Jason, what??
Lucky drops by the Haunted Star. Don't these people ever go home, put their feet up and watch their stories while eating a pint of Ben & Jerry's? Just me then? Apparently Luke called him. There's a lot of 'summoning' in this town. Lucky thinks it's about Elizabeth but Luke is frazzled that his cigar connection, Carlos, was busted. Luke wants his 'cop son' to fix the problem. Lucky scoffs at the idea at first but then says he'll check to see if he can get Carlos off. He then says he's going to go talk to Elizabeth and be honest with her this time.
Nikolas comes back to Crazy's room. She thanks him for bringing the boys by. She feels like "the worst mother in the world." Her words. Nikolas says he's been trying to help out Audrey with the boys even inviting them over to play with Spencer. Crazy makes it clear that they're not going to be a family.
Carly has come home with Sonny and Diane yapping her mouth about how things are looking good. Diane thinks the day was a disaster. She chides Carly for ruining any credibility she'll have in the trial. Carly argues that she told the truth! That's quite an achievement for her. Sonny thinks it's all good but Diane thinks that Claire Walsh is someone to look out for. Diane: "You're freedom can rely on one crucial element." What, Diane, what??
Claire wants a word with Dante. Lulu argues that Dante just got out of the hospital and that he's had enough. Dante says it's ok so Lulu leaves them alone. Outside she tells Jax that Claire is inside questioning Dante. Jax says it's probably to ask him why he perjured himself and if he plans on doing the same thing during the trial. Lulu is torn. So is Jax. Lulu thinks maybe Jax should remain neutral given his love of Carly but he can't do that because Sonny is a threat to his family. Back inside, Claire wants to know if she can trust Dante.
Johnny and Ethan arrive at the Haunted Star chatting about what happened. Luke: "Good evening, gentleman. I trust that you're up to no good." Ethan hands Luke a box of cigars. Luke is happy. Johnny says he'll let Ethan know about the next job but Ethan plays all coy. He coyly asks what Johnny is up to next. Johnny not so coyly tells him that the next job is "the total destruction of Sonny Corinthos". DUN!
Lisa and Patrick play darts and flirt. He tries to distract her from her game. He accidently insults her by saying she's the perfect woman for a guy who never wanted to fall in love.
Nikolas says he knows Elizabeth has made it clear that she doesn't want a relationship with him but he still wants to change her mind. He doesn't want her to keep his child out of his life and she says she wouldn't do that. Lucky comes by and Crazy is happy to see him. He asks Nikolas for a moment alone with Elizabeth. After Nik leaves, she immediately gets up to hug Lucky. Lucky is finally being honest. He tells her that he wants to help and will always be there for the kids but they don't have a future together.
In the courtroom, Claire seems to be training Dante on his testimony. She tries to get him to confess that Sonny shot him but Dante sticks to his story that he shot himself. In the chest. She asks him how he keeps the lies straight. She hints that the lines got blurred and he got attached to Sonny as a father figure even though he didn't know that Sonny was his actual father. He doesn't know what this all has to do with the case. She just wants to know how far he'll go to "save daddy".
Sonny and Carly are alone. They talk about the bail hearing and the trial. She says she'll lie if she has to. It's funny that ethics has a very narrow meaning for her. Jax comes in. He tells Sonny that if he cared about his kids, he wouldn't be asking their mother to commit perjury.
Johnny and Ethan plan another scheme to take a Corinthos shipment. They play all hard to get with each other again. Jason crashes the party. He asks them about the warehouse raid.
At Jakes, Robin stops by to see Patrick feeding Lisa a shot while she's in a weird position. The crowd is chanting "Up and Over". So I guess that's what that is...
Lucky explains why he lied to Elizabeth and that he told her he forgave her because he was scared for her. She realizes that he can't forgive her. He says the damage is too much. He says it's time they let go. She thanks him for his honesty and says she's decided to take the early paternity test. What about May sweeps?
-end
February 25 2010
So I've only lost about two minutes with a weather storm watch. It's snowing! Yeah, we got it.
I decided to just watch on Soapnet. Here we go!
Michael doesn't get why Sonny has to confess to a murder he committed. Jason tries to explain that he's just protecting Michael but then finally admits the real truth: "It's what Sonny wants." Which is just the answer for life, the universe and everything. Michael wants to know if Jason would let Sonny take the rap for someone [Jason] murdered.
Lulu is checking the outcome of Sonny's arraignment on her cellphone in Dante's hospital room, but there's no news yet. Mac stops by. He's there with Dante's subpoena. And damn it, I always have to look up how to spell that word!
Johnny surprises Olivia with a kiss at the metro-court. He wants to have dinner with her but she reminds him that she wants nothing to do with the mob. Neither of them are going to change their minds but the loves and respects her. She says she can't walk down that road again.
Court: Claire tries to convince the judge that Sonny is a flight risk. Alexis objects. Judge Meany reminds Alexis that she's not part of the proceedings. Claire makes a final argument that if Sonny leaves the courtroom today, they won't see him again.
The subpoena given to Dante is for the arraignment turned bail hearing. Mac and Lulu both think it's possible that Sonny is a flight risk. Mac says if they can't get a doctor's signature to release Dante, they'll take his testimony there - but they'd rather have him in person to have maximum impact. Mac leaves.
Patrick congratulates Robin with her work on a patient. Lisa and Steven come by psyched about the Tim McGraw concert....and this isn't the south. But anyway, Patrick acts jealous and Robin says he's just mad that he's not going which...isn't that the definition of jealousy? Robin says they're going to the philharmonic and Steven acts inappropriate in the work place by saying his employee is whipped already after a year of marriage. Mac comes by and tells Robin that he just served a subpoena to Dante. Robin thinks it's a lot of pressure to make a guy testify against his own father.
Ethan and Kristina are still playing poker when Sam joins. She thinks Alexis wouldn't approve. Kristina agrees which is why she didn't tell her. Kristina gets a text and excuses herself to make a call but not before telling Ethan that her hand was terrible anyway. Ethan tells her not to give away that information. Kristina thinks he's amazing and Sam tells her to go make her call.
Outside Kelly's, Kristina tells Keifer's voicemail that she won't be able to make their plans. Back inside, Sam gets all 'big sister' and has a talk with Ethan. Ethan knows Kristina has a crush. Sam wants to know why he's encouraging her.
Jason explains the rules of the mob to Michael. And ok, next!
Johnny gets behind the bar and pours himself a drink. Heh. Olivia futilely tries to convince Johnny that the mob life isn't for him using Sonny as an example. The only thing Johnny takes out of it is the comparison to Sonny. He still wants Olivia to be his moll and won't take no for an answer.
Jax leaves a message for Claire wishing her luck. Dawson comes by and wants to know why Claire took over to the Corinthos case. Jax says she's the best and failure is not an option. He wants Sonny in jail.
Claire continues her argument but Diane says that Sonny could have left town at any time and hasn't. Claire argues that Sonny hasn't left yet because he had to stick by his son who got shot. Sonny interrupts because he wants a word with Diane. He wants a recess. She doesn't think it's prudent but Sonny insists and even manhandles her and condescends to her. Douche. The judge wants to know what's up so Diane asks for that recess. Alexis thinks Sonny has just shown everyone in the court what a total douche he really is.
Dante just wants to "be nice to a messed-up kid with daddy issues and a jerk boyfriend." Hee. And aww. Sam agrees that Kiefer is bad news but she thinks that Ethan might be unintentionally leading her on. Ethan agrees to dial it back. Kristina comes back and Sam excuses herself and goes to the counter. Ethan tells Kristina that he has to get to work. She's disappointed so he tells her he didn't mean to lead her on. He says she's too young for him. Kristina's pissed at Sam.
Sonny calls up Jason and summons him to the courthouse. Michael wants to know if something's wrong but of course Jason doesn't know anything except that his Sonny needs him. Before he leaves, he tells Max to keep an eye on Michael to keep him from going to the court room to confess.
Alexis introduces herself to Claire. She wonders what happened to Everett Dawson. When Jax shows up, she pretty much figures it out. She goes over to Jax and asks him what he's done.
Diane is pissed at Sonny. She warns him to not ever talk to her like that again. Sonny says the recess was the only thing between him and a prison cell and he's "not going."
Dante knew he would have to testify, just not this soon. Steven stops by. He wants to wait to sign the clearance forms until after Dante has had another round of tests. Lulu leaves to get Dante a suit. Robin stops by. She wants to talk to him about Sonny.
Johnny catches Lulu at the elevator as she's leaving. She asks him to not visit Dante right now because he doesn't need the stress. He wonders if Dante will actually testify against his dad.
Diane doesn't want Sonny to continue to be a douche in the courtroom and then Jason arrives. She wants to know what he's doing there and Sonny says he called him. I guess he will continue to be a douche, Diane. Sorry! She thinks this is all a bad idea. She tells Jason about Claire Walsh and warns him to get out of the courtroom before he's handled a subpoena. She leaves them to talk. Sonny tells Jason that he needs to get out of the country. .,....which is what Jason and Carly and others have been telling him for weeks. Douche.
Jax is insulted by Alexis' insinuation that he's "done" something. But then he admits that he is responsible for Claire Walsh. Alexis thinks that Sonny being in prison is not the best thing for his kids. She wants him to back off.
Kristina knows Sam was the one who ran Ethan off. She says Sam was the one who thought she should stay away from Keifer. Sam agrees but says that doesn't mean she should jump from one person to another. She thinks that Ethan is way too old for her but Kristina reminds Sam about her affair with Sonny, where the age difference was way bigger. Hee. Sam says she was an adult when she entered that relationship and she doesn't want to discuss it any further. Kristina walks away mad.
Lulu doesn't know if Dante will testify. Johnny remembers how Lulu was so fond of Sonny. Lulu said she was wrong and she hates Sonny. I'm so with ya, babe. I remember that I started watching this show because of Sonny and now he's the character I hate the most. She says that Sonny could still get away with this: "They could have a video of Sonny killing Claudia and he'd still slip through the cracks." Spot on. Johnny doesn't think so. Because Johnny doesn't watch the show.
Robin shows Dante a picture of her and Stone. She tells the story of Stone and Sonny. The whole story is just to show how great Sonny is. And he was - I remember all this. But that's the whole thing. He was. That was about ten years ago. He's had quite a history since. Patrick is listening in. He barges in and says he needs to talk to Robin.
Sonny is worried he'll be going to prison and needs a contingency plan.
Jax is outraged that Alexis is protecting Sonny. She's worried about Kristina and for the second time this episode, the phrase "daddy issues" is uttered. She tries to convince Jax to help her. "You've got to be kidding me," Jax and I utter at the same time. He says Kristina and the other kids will get over it because they have good parents who will raise them right which won't happen if Sonny sticks around. Alexis goes over and warns Claire that she's "walking into a hornet's nest" and that Jax only asked for her help because he's emotionally involved. Claire thinks that's great and will use it to her advantage.
Johnny comes by the Haunted Star and wants a private game. Ethan grabs a bottle and they go play. Johnny tells Ethan that there are better ways to earn money. Ethan wonders if Johnny has a death wish going after Sonny and he also wants to know why Johnny thinks that he would want to join his crusade.
Max tries to distract Michael with sports stuff. Michael knows what he's doing. Kristina stops by. Max leaves the two of them to talk. Michael tells her that she should be at court. She hopes he's not still thinking about confessing. He thinks he needs to but Kristina thinks that covering for Michael is the one decent thing that Sonny has done.
Robin tells Patrick that she was just trying to give Dante a balanced view about Sonny but Patrick thinks that she was just trying to protect Sonny. Robin admits it's true because she doesn't know what good will come from Sonny being put in jail. Oh, Robin. Patrick says it's none of her business.
Lulu comes by with the suit. Dante asks Lulu about Stone. Lulu knows who he is but was too young to remember him well. Dante tells Lulu about what Robin told her. He talks about Sonny in a new light and it kills me and Lulu has a look but she's trying to be a good girlfriend but it doesn't matter because Dante sees it. She says she'll support him with whatever he decides but she doesn't look too happy about it.
Jason runs home and calls for Spinelli but he's not there. Sam, who is talking to Spinelli on her cell gives Jason the phone. He tells Spinelli that he needs him home right away and hangs up with no concern for Sam who was on the phone with Spinelli for a reason. Sam goes to argue but then remembers her sole purpose in life is to please Jason and asks him what's up. He tells Sam about the arraignment. She guesses that he'll break Sonny out.
Court is back in session and Diane continues her argument. She argues that Sonny's ties including the three out of four children he's close to are here. Alexis tries to whisper something to Diane but Judge Meany overhears and reprimands her.
Ethan agrees that Sonny is bad and empathizes with Johnny but thinks Sonny is too dangerous to mess with. Johnny explains his plan to Ethan because not enough people know that he wants Sonny to pay. He says that prison isn't good enough and he wants to dismantle Sonny piece by piece.
Lulu helps Dante into his suit and it hurts because he was shot in the chest just a few weeks earlier. Patrick comes in and signs the clearance forms behind Steven's back and encourages Dante to go. Dante wants to know why Patrick is so keen on him testifying since he thought that he was friends with Sonny and knows Robin is such good friends with Sonny. Patrick says it's not his place to judge.
Steven and Robin look at Dante's test results and Steven says they look good. Robin was hoping that Dante would have more time. They see Dante leaving (without a wheelchair?) and tells them Patrick signed his release. Steven tells Patrick that he had no right to release his patient. Robin says it's because he didn't want her talking to Dante again and Patrick agrees. I honestly can't remember what changed Patrick's mind about Sonny.
Jason needs Sam's help. Sam: "I will do whatever you need, whenever you need it - just let me know." Which epitomizes Sam's character completely. Jason explains the deal. He says the best time to get Sonny free is between the court house and lock-up.
Ethan doesn't like revenge and pretty much dares Johnny to convince him. Johnny does. He says now is the time to take over warehouse 51.
Steven chastises Patrick for overstepping. After he leaves, Robin and Patrick argue about Sonny while Lisa listens. He doesn't understand how she can still think he's a saint after he shot an unarmed man. Ah, so I guess that's it.
Longest. Arraignment/Bail hearing. Ever. Diane continues to argue for bail. Claire goes next. She says Sonny's altruism and philanthropy don't outweigh the murder and other crimes. She calls Dante to the stand. DUN!

DUN!
