So it was my birthday weekend and I drank tons. I'm feeling better now.
Claire calls Sonny flat out crazy or an ingenious manipulator which turns out is not exclusive of each other since he's both. She needs some eyeshadow. She wants to know what gives Sonny the right to kill Johnny while she looks the other way. Because he's an arrogant S.O.B.
And the reason why Sonny's in such a tiff - Kristina is hanging out at Johnny's with a plan. She wants to pretend she's Johnny's girlfriend. Johnny's not so sure about the plan. He tries to get out of it by being an understanding big brother-type. I'm not even sure what she would get out of this especially since she admits it'll just make her dad out-of-control crazy. Does she really want her dad in prison that badly? And from this plan, the thing that will put him in jail is killing Johnny. Not exactly a win-win here.
Dante quickly puts the picture that Franco sent him away while Lulu jokingly walks out in a towel doing a Brooklyn accent saying she was accidentally locked out. But she sees Dante is upset.
Also upset? Prisoner McRapist. 'Cause Jason just killed him. Before he dies, Prisoner McRapist lets slip that Franco "wants to play". Jason demands to know where Franco is. Why should he tell you? You stabbed him! Prisoner McRapist agrees with me and dies instead of telling Jason anything more.
Credits: Lisa/Steve day.
Jason realizes Michael was watching and yells at him to get back to his cell.
Lulu thinks making fun of Brook Lynn was what made Dante upset. He tries to change the subject but she wants to know what's up. She steers the conversation back to what's bothering him and he says it's just some case that he thought was ended...which I guess isn't an outright lie. Of course the phone rings and it's Maxie. Maxie has some emergency but Lulu wants to have sex. Dante tells her it's ok and that he wants to investigate this "cold case". After she goes, Dante calls someone to come over.
Sonny denies that he wants to kill Johnny. Claire repeats his sentence about killing Johnny Zacharra word for word. They argue about what the law means. She calls him lots of accurate names - but we all know she's going to end up in bed with him. This upsets me. But I will continue to like Claire until that happens. Bottom line, she threatens that if Johnny shows up dead, she'll prosecute Sonny to the fullest extent of the law.
Kristina whines about how Sonny tortured Claudia. Johnny doesn't want to use her but she says she's willing. He asks her what I asked earlier in the episode: "What does [she] get out of it?" She just wants him to hurt. He asks her to elaborate and how she sees it playing out. She asks if it matters? Johnny, "it does if I'm dead in the end, yeah." Exactly what I said. I could right this show. Which doesn't say much. She assures him that he won't die and that he'll go to jail if he tries. Johnny thinks she should be channeling all that hate energy into something positive and realizes the irony of his being the one to say that.
Luke and Tracy are still stuck in their cell arguing about their fake marriage. He insists he's still in love with her but she thinks he's just in love with her money. Nikolas comes and opens the gates. Luke thinks he's working with Helena.
I just realized that Dante's place reminds me of Courtney's old place. Ah well. Lulu, now dressed, talks about Maxie and how stupid she is...and I don't disagree. She brings up Franco which makes Dante go off on him and how he hurt his girlfriend. They kiss and part ways. Dante takes out the photo again.
Kristina wants to know why Johnny is being so noble/stubborn. He insists he's not a nice guy. He further explains why he can't do this plan. She says she feels safe with him but assures him it's not sexual. She leaves saying if he changes his mind, the offer is still open.
Carly stops by her bar at the metro court and asks Patrick where his dinner companions are. Patrick snidely says that Lisa and Steve are probably sexing it up somewhere. He tells her that Robin is off in Africa. She snidely says, "it must be lonely having a saint for a wife." She tells the bartender that Patrick's tab is on the house and they weirdly flirt. Carly goads him a bit about Lisa.
Nicholas wants to know if Helena locked them in the cell for a good reason. Tracy, "And people call the Quartermaines crazy." Hee. She says there's no reason to lock someone in a dungeon and it almost killed her. Luke takes this as an opportunity to placate his non-wife by telling her more than Nicholas that his undying love and devotion brought her back to health. Nicholas says he'll have them both flown out of there right away. Lucky who was listening to the last sentence, steps in and says that was "awfully big of [him]". But I think he's being sarcastic because he says it all mean-like.
Patrick tells Carly that he has the wrong impression. She thinks she doesn't. He insists he wouldn't cheat on Robin but Carly doesn't buy it.
Back at the cell, Jason tells Michael that he needs his help. He makes sure that Michael denies he knows anything. And not to speak up for him or defend him. Michael says he's learned not to trust the cops and Jason immediately regrets his entire existence. He tells Michael that that's not what he's supposed to learn. But why not? Jason doesn't trust cops. Why should Michael? This reminds me of a fantasy I once had of Jason dressed as a cop. It's not so much that I want him to be a cop....I just think he'd look hot in that uniform. *rowr*
Ronnie is delightfully surprised that Dante called him. Dante gives him the picture and exposits that ever since Franco was labeled a serial killer, the public can't get enough of him. Dante thinks the picture may mean that Franco is killing again. Ronnie thinks that Dante wants to go after Franco so he can avoid going after Sonny.
UGH. Claire is still at Sonny's? This should have ended three scenes ago. They goad and threaten each other and there's nothing new. He thinks the plan might be to take him down instead of Johnny. She wants to know if he's accusing her of a double cross. Yes. Now go home.
Nicholas sends Tracy and Luke upstairs where some guy is going to take them to Athens. Nicholas thinks he done good but Lucky doesn't want to thank him.
Patrick casually changes the subject towards Carly's son. She says it's hard but is glad Jason is in there to protect him. Patrick admits that what Jason did was admirable despite pretty much hating him. Carly takes an incoming phone call. It's Brook telling her that Dante is gone and Lulu just walked in.
Michael wants to know what Prisoner McRapist told Jason. Jason doesn't want to say but insists it wasn't about Michael. He's bothered about all that Michael is learning. Michael says he's learned that killing is about staying alive; not fear and respect.
And Claire is still there. She repeats her terms: If he tricks Johnny into committing an illegal act, she'll arrest Johnny but if Sonny is caught committing an illegal act, she'll arrest Sonny. He somehow starts talking about his kids and their problems and his problems not seeing his kids...and stuff. And I don't know why. They finally finalize the deal. And she finally leaves.
Lucky criticizes Helena's actions but Nikolas defends it because Luke plays the same games. Lucky reminds him that Helena kidnapped him for a year and messed with his head. Something that never really got addressed with the other two Luckys and I hope they delve into that a bit more. He says that Elizabeth was the only thing that got him through all of it and Nikolas came along and took her away from him.
Olivia comes in to talk about a bartender; Sonny tells her to leave because he's meeting Johnny there. But too late, cause Johnny comes in asks him if he should get upset because he's hanging out with his "lady". He tells Sonny to not push his buttons because he won't like how he pushes back.
Dante visits Jason in jail and shows him the picture.
Nikolas doesn't really get it. He says that what Helena did had nothing to do with him and that Elizabeth chose to be with him. Lucky says it's not about Elizabeth; it's about the brother who he trusted.....and then shuts him in the cell.
Sonny makes empty threats while Olivia watches. Johnny makes the same empty threats and leaves.
Carly and Brook Lynn stage a fake fight for Lulu's behalf. Carly fakes a threat to fire Brook for trying to seduce Dante. Brook fake insists that she didn't. Lulu hears this, comes out and tells everyone that it's all ok! Sucker.
Jason plays the staring game and Dante gets mad. The warden walks in and tells Jason, "I warned you what would happen if you caused trouble here".

Wow, I'm back! It's been a while since I've done a recap so let's go!
Morgan and Sonny have a talk about Dante. Morgan wonders if Sonny hates Dante now because Morgan sure seems to. Sonny tries to defend his eldest. Sonny tells Morgan he's going to stay away from him for a while although he promises to take all his kids to a Yankee game some day. Because that's what matters. Morgan doesn't want his dad to make any promises he can't keep.
Jax wants to make sure he heard Carly right about adopting Morgan. He wonders if that means she wants to stay married.
Dante's trying to look up something at the PCPD to see if he can get Michael off. He runs ideas by Lucky. Lucky doesn't think Michael's sentence is that bad for manslaughter but still wants to help get Michael out.
Claire tries to understand Jason's little plan. She wonders if he's though this through since it will be hard to get him out.
Credits: Matt: Will I be on today? Please! Please!?
Morgan, blah blah blah Yankees. He sounds defeated. And he seems to be really pissed at Dante. Morgan says he understands when Sonny says it's best he stays away from him for a while but his voice totally breaks. Morgan cries as Sonny tries to rationalize. Morgan is kinda confused by Sonny's wishy-washy attitude. He stays away, he's here, he stays away. Sonny promises that they will go to a Yankee game. Because that's what matters.
Carly tells Jax that the marriage is over. She just wants him to be there for Morgan.
Claire argues the cons of Jason going to prison while Jason begs her to arrest him. Everything she says pretty much makes sense: He has enemies at Pentonville; he may not be able to get out once he's in; and many people who care about Michael are working on an appeal. But Jason? Nah - the justice system has to bend to his rules.
New set! Pentonville yard: Michael stands scared while all the prisoners work out and one eyes him like he's fresh meat. A guard comes over and harasses him. He doesn't like that Michael's a rich boy. Also, his brother was in the hospital because of Sonny. Possible Rapist approaches Michael and offers him a smoke. Possible Rapist tells Michael to stick with him.
Lucky and Dante continue to try to figure out how to set Michael free when Judge Carrol enters. He compliments Dante and insults Lucky.
Dante asks the judge to reconsider Michael's sentence. The judge refuses. He thinks it'll teach Michael not to follow in his father's footsteps. Lucky argues that Michael isn't a criminal but the Judge (and I) think he is...or at least has the potential to be one. After the Judge leaves, Lucky wants to find "dirty laundry" on the Judge.
Jason begs Claire some more. Claire rightfully points out that this whole thing could have been avoided had they not all covered the murder up. But...she agrees to help Jason out because it will help her career. How? They both agree that the other is doing the right thing.
Jax tells Carly to think about it before doing something drastic. But Carly is all about being drastic; making big decisions without thinking. Jax finally agrees.
Diane and Alexis discuss Alexis' woes. Diane is worried about what RoadKill's parents will do. They both think the Bauers will go after Kristina. Kristina walks in and overhears Alexis say the word 'trial' and immediately freaks out like only Kristina can do. Why did we not see any of the criminal trial?? I guess we were overloaded with Sonny's trial.
Diane explains the "wrongful death" suit that the Bauers plan to bring against Alexis. She warns Kristina that she may be called to the stand. Kristina whinges and whines and moans and cries and freaks out because that's all she knows how to do. Get a fucking spine, Kristina. She runs off. Diane tells Alexis not to go after Kristina because she needs to process all she just heard.
Jason comes to the PCPD and asks to see Lucky privately. Lucky apologizes for not letting Michael go with him when he had the chance. Jason tells him it's not his fault. He informs Lucky that he's going to prison.
Lulu brings Dante coffee. Dante tells her that Jason took Lucky into the interrogation room. Lulu thinks Jason is trying to turn Lucky against Dante.
Morgan tells Sonny about his karate stuff and Sonny tries not to look bored and then Carly comes in. He tells Carly why he's there: He wanted to explain to Morgan that he'll be staying away for a while to keep him safe but it won't be forever. So why now? Why not later? Will Sonny's life get less dangerous later? Or will Sonny just not care if Morgan is safe later? This whole thing stinks of self-absorbed guilt which is nothing new from Sonny. I really shouldn't be surprised. Carly asks to talk to Sonny alone for a few. He hugs his dad good-bye (just for a while!) and goes off upstairs. Carly makes it clear that she doesn't want Sonny to see Morgan at all; to cut all ties. She tells Sonny about asking Jax to adopt Morgan.
Kristina comes to cousin Nikolas to ask for help. She tells him about the case and that she might be put on the stand. Why wasn't she put on the stand at the criminal case? Nikolas tells Kristina he can help.
Sonny and Carly argue about Jax adopting Morgan. They argue and argue and argue. She wants Morgan to grow up to be like Jax. Sonny says it's not going to happen.
Jason tells Lucky about what Claire is going to do. Lucky tells Jason about the possible blackmail.
Outside, Lulu and Dante talk about Jason.
Back inside, Jason thanks Lucky for being a dad to Jake. Jason says he'll be in prison within 24 hours.
Jason leaves. He's stopped by Lulu who wants to make sure that Dante is safe. Jason snarks at Lulu for defending her boyfriend instead of defending the family who cares about her. He stalks off. Dante wants to know what the hell is going on. Lucky tells him and adds, "which is a hell of a lot more then any of us are doing." Yeah - real fucking noble. And real fucking stupid. Want to help Michael? Stop being a fucking criminal.
Nikolas assures Kristina that he'll make sure it doesn't go to trial. Kristina is thankful because if she went to her dad, he would just kill them. NIkolas: "I take a different approach. I just make people wish they were dead." Hee. Can we have more of this Nikolas? He asks her how's she doing. She's getting better about understanding how wrong she was. Nik gets it because of what he did with Lucky and Elizabeth.
Lulu and Dante agree that Jason's plan might be good. He tells her that they're looking for dirt on Judge Carroll.
Jax is on the phone when Sonny busts in telling him that he can't have his son. Jax reminds Sonny that he signed away his rights to Morgan. They both think the other is the reason that Michael is where he is. Sonny threatens Jax...because that's what he does.
Carly tells Jason about the adoption. Jason tries not to judge. She tells him that they'll raise Morgan as divorced parents. Jason thinks it all goes back to him. He says asking Sonny to be Michael's father was the worst decision he ever made.
Lulu visits Luke. He's overjoyed to see her. She's glad he's not mad at her. She asks him if he has any dirt on Judge Carroll. He doesn't but he's happy that her kids are trying to blackmail a judge! Now that's good parenting!
Jax calls Sonny's bluff. Sonny, "You couldn't put me in prison. So now you're trying to steal my son." Because everything is about Sonny!! Jax tries to explain that it's about being a good parent. And now...Michael is in Pentonville because of Jax. God, I hate this guy. SO. MUCH. And...enter Dante.
The prisoners at Pentonville are called to line up. The guard yells at Michael for not knowing how to stand in a line. And seriously? Who walks over to the wall when all the other prisoners are standing in a line in the center... Are we sure he's not Jason's kid? The guard tells Michael he's going to be treated worse because of who his father is.
Carly is happy but skeptical that Jason is so accepting of her decision. Jason tells her about his plan to go to Pentonville. He tells her that he'll be with Michael 24 hours a day. Claire calls him - it's done - he has 5 years in Pentonville. She warns him that even if Michael gets out, he won't.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! And Happy Birthday to my friend Steve who had me out drinking late last night. Kudos to you, Steve!
Lulu visits Wyndemere and Alfred's fake-ass British accent offers her a drink. Nikolas dismisses him. He and Lulu discuss Ethan and Kristina. They're sad to hear about Ethan but Nikolas called Lulu to talk about Elizabeth. He knows Lulu is still pissed about what he did to Lucky. Nik tells Lulu that the paternity test is coming in today and he thinks he's the daddy.
Lucky brings Ethan out of holding. Tracy bailed him out. I guess no one killed him in the middle of the night. Lucky thinks Ethan may be safer in lock-up.
Sam has brought Kristina coffee but it hurts to drink. She warns Kristina that the police are going to be coming soon to ask about Ethan. Keifer eavesdrops outside.
Alexis comes to visit Jason regarding Ethan. She tells Jason that he can't kill Ethan.
Credits
A pissy Lulu thinks Nikolas may be jumping the gun. Nikolas reminds her that the odds are in his favor which only makes her more pissy about the whole thing. Nikolas insists he just wants to give the baby a good life. Lulu brings up Spencer and Nikolas' lack of parenting skills. I love when they do that. They argue about his intentions and about Elizabeth. She thinks Elizabeth is a liar and he insists he's in love with her.
Tracy thinks the PCPD is incompetent (she's not wrong) and Lucky thinks there's way too much evidence stacked up against Ethan. Lucky makes a convincing argument for police protection but Ethan's pride tells him 'no way'.
Alexis implores Jason not to kill Ethan because she thinks if Ethan dies, Kristina will blame herself and won't recover.
Kristina doesn't want to think about it and Sam tries to convince her that none of it is her fault. Kristina's worried about her face. Sam wants to prepare her for the police. She wants her to be honest with them. Key word there, Kristina: honest. After Sam explains how important it is that Kristina gets her attacker, Kristina feigns tiredness to get Sam to leave. OK, maybe it's not completely fake tiredness but she does seem to just want to be alone. After Sam leaves, Keifer comes in. He locks the door and Kristina is visibly scared.
Sidebar: There has been a lot of discussion about what a douche-baggery thing Kristina is doing by naming Ethan as her attacker. Other's argue that it's not her fault because she's scared. And I get that - I really do. She doesn't want to turn Keifer in because she's terrified of him and again, I get that. It's a natural response as a victim of abuse. But I still don't get naming Ethan. He's someone who has helped her in the past and sure Kristina was mad at him but she doesn't seem the type who to be that vindictive. If she was going to lie, she could've just said that she got mugged or something.
Anyway, back from the commercial break, we're in another hospital room: Maxie's. Johnny is once again Maxie's hero because he brought her a mango juice. Slushie? Something with mangos in it. Spinelli sits outside listening. He's dejected because he only brought coffee. Wah-Wah. He listens to Maxie shower Johnny with compliments and then rolls away. At the nurse's station, Robin asks him how he's feeling after his surgery. When did he get surgery? Apparently Lisa operated on his achilles. Robin knows that he wants to visit Maxie but he informs her that Maxie was busy with Johnny. Robin tries to cheer him up. Spinelli moans on. Even Epiphany tells him to quit bitchin'.
Keifer apologizes about what he did. Kristina is incredibly scared, listening to his pathetic cries. Through sobs, Kristina says, "I thought you were going to kill me." She wants to know how he could do that to her. He cliches that he hates that he did it. He wants to know why she's protecting him. Good question.
Tracy wants Ethan to run. Ethan wants to stick around and clear his name. They wonder who could do that to Kristina. Ethan says he'll find out! I smell a mystery! Tracy barely believes him. She says he's going to have to try really hard to convince everyone else.
Spinelli finally rolls in. Johnny makes a joke about rescuing Spinelli again which was meant sweetly but probably the wrong thing to say around Spinelli's wounded ego. Johnny excuses himself. Before he leaves, Spinelli thanks him again. Maxie says she's doing fine but Spinelli moans on again. Maxie seems sick of his self-doubt...as are we. She says, "The only one who thinks you're not good enough for me is you." And Mac...and I'm sure others.
Lucky is at the PCPD putting a rush on the DNA results for Kristina. Nikolas pops by. He tells Lucky that he's picking up Elizabeth from Shadybrook soon and will be meeting with Epiphany to hear the results. He wants Lucky to go with them. Lucky says he's busy and to phone him with the results. Nikolas is astonished that Lucky wouldn't want to be there to hear if he's the father. Lucky says he knows that Nikolas will be the father.
Jason comforts Sam at home. Sam thinks it's all her fault because Kristina is trying to emulate her.
Keifer thinks Kristina is protecting him because she loves him and knows how sorry he is. He wants to know if she can forgive him. She doesn't know if she can but she knows she doesn't want him to die. But she doesn't mind if Ethan does? She knows Sonny would have killed him if he knew it was Keifer. He thanks her for saving his life. Alexis comes in. I thought he locked the door. Alexis asks him to leave because it's too soon for visitors. After he does, Kristina sobs uncontrollably telling Alexis she shouldn't have lied.
Of course she's not talking about lying about Ethan. She's talking about lying to Keifer. She goes on about how she lied to Keifer and starts in on the events following and it almost seems she's about to confess but Alexis calms her down saying it's not her fault. Kristina wants to know what's going to happen to Ethan. Alexis says he'll be prosecuted.
Keifer and his parents come down to the police station. Mom looks totally familiar. I'll find out later. Keifer's impatiently asks why Lucky brought them out there in the pompous rich person way you really only see in movies. Lucky explains the situation. They agree to let Keifer answer questions. I thought Lucky had a conflict of interest in this case?
Spinelli and Maxie actually seem to be having fun and laugh together until Mac comes in and spoils it. Then the yelling and the coughing start. Mac says he'll come back when Spinelli is gone.
Nik picks up a more visibly pregnant Elizabeth from Shadybrook. They act civilly towards each other and even Elizabeth apologizes knowing things have been tough for him.
At the Metro-Court, Claire asks a passing-by-Carly if she's heard from Michael. Carly: "He's unreachable". Claire subtly insults Carly's parenting skills. Claire and Carly have some words until Jax drops by with Olivia. Carly leaves snarkily telling Jax to take care of his 'friend.' Claire tries to get statements about Michael driving the night of Claudia's murder from Olivia and Jax. Olivia has nothing to add. Jax? We'll find out after the commercial.
Olivia excuses herself. Claire wants Jax's cooperation. Jax doesn't think it's a good idea to be put on the stand. She wants him to use his resources to get Michael. Jax thinks they have enough evidence. They don't. She tries to convince him that they need Michael. After she leaves, Carly corners Jax about how Claire is a 'threat to Michael'.
Robin and Epiphany fuss over Maxie. Maxie wants Robin to talk to Mac about Spinelli. She also wants to know when she'll be out of there. Robin says Maxie is staying put for now.
Lucky continues to question Keifer about the night Kristina was beaten. He's interrupted by Mac who wants to talk to Lucky about the Corinthos case. Mac name-drops Mayor Floyd who is apparently friends with the "Bauers". Lucky: "Shock." Hee. Lucky wants to continue the interview. The Bauers don't want anything to do with Kristina and her family. They leave. Mac assures Lucky that they'll have DNA evidence soon. Lucky tells Mac that he needs to run to GH.
Jason visits Kristina at the hospital. Jason wants to lend an ear.
Helena informs Alfred that she's taking over some of the rooms at Wyndemere.
Epiphany asks Nikolas and Elizabeth to wait. Elizabeth asks Nikolas if Lucky is coming. He says he spoke to him and Elizabeth guesses that he isn't coming.
Larry the Lab Tech delivers the baby daddy news. Epiphany walks the envelope over. She opens it up and reads while Lucky eavesdrops. When the news that Nikolas is the father is read, there are two disappointed faces and one happy one. You can guess which is which.
Lulu catches Ethan taking cash from Luke's desk. Lulu thinks running will make Ethan look more guilty. I thought he decided earlier that he wanted to find out the real culprit.
Mac comforts Alexis at the PCPD. The DNA results have come in! How convenient!
Jason wants to know what happened directly from Kristina. Kristina slips up by saying that Ethan came by immediately after Sam left. But Jason knows that Sam was with Ethan at the Haunted Star after she left the lake house! Encyclopedia Brown, you've done it again!

March 4, 2010
Day four of unemployment and it's hard to keep track of days! I can't believe it's Thursday.
Here we go:
We repeat a bit of what we saw yesterday with Lucky chasing a masked Johnny. Nikolas is signing the trust papers and Elizabeth is getting her test. And bang!
Nikolas wants Alexis to file the paperwork asap. As an attorney, she'll do it but as his aunt, she wants to just burn the papers up because she thinks this will make Elizabeth and the baby targets for Helena.
Crazy is relieved that the test is over. Kelly tells her that she'll know the results in a few days.
Johnny's bullet apparently missed because Lucky is hiding beyond the doorway while Johnny continues to shoot. Johnny jumps over the ledge.
Claire is waiting for Jason at his pad. Sam has let her in. She snarkily compliments Jason on his coffee saying she expects nothing less from a major coffee importer and then tells him that she's glad he's there so she doesn't have to wait for a judge to issue a warrant for his arrest.
Credits; I hope this Claire chick gets a contract but it will be at least 5 years before we see her on the opening credits.
Jason has nothing to say without his attorney. Claire continues to snark about Jason's familiarity with the legal system and then tells him she's calling him to be a witness at Sonny's trial.
Carly is looking for Jax at the metro-court. She finds him and asks him how he slept the previous night thinking her sex-plan worked. It didn't. Jax plays it cool and asks Carly to remember to bring something of Josselyn's the next time she comes over.
Alexis worries more about Helena but Nikolas thinks it'll be fine. Alexis is also worried that Nikolas' motive is to endear himself to Elizabeth.
Elizabeth comes back to nurse's station. Kelly, Epiphany and Robin reassure her that she's well loved there and that her job is ready for her when she's better. Elizabeth is just worried about the results of the paternity test.
Lucky finds Dante at the PCPD when he gets back. He looks all nervous about starting his first day and asks Lucky about the the call. He tells Dante about it and says he's sure it's John Zacchara.
Jax pretends to talk about business but he's really teasing Carly with talk of satin sheets and orgasmic chocolate. She excuses herself. To change? After she's gone, he asks "Joey" at the front desk if Carly was asking about him. What happened to the Asian guy? Jax is pleased to hear that Carly asked about him the moment she walked in the door.
Nik makes it clear that Lucky and Elizabeth are finished. He loves Elizabeth but doesn't think Elizabeth knows what she wants right now. Alexis' advice: "Typically what starts out badly rarely ends well." And she should know. He says if he had to do it all over again, he'd tell Lucky the truth from the beginning and despite everything, he loves Elizabeth.
Maxie is playing hooky from work at Jake's waiting for Spinelli. She bribes Coleman not to tell Kate. She wants to put on some country music and dance with Spinelli and then have sex in her boots. Weird girl. Johnny limps in and orders a bottle of whiskey. Maxie asks him if he's hurt. He says he feels good and takes a big ol' swig.
Lucky tells Dante more about the hit he just stopped. Dante knows that Bernie's is the heart of the organization and also gives some info about Max and Milo's M.O.s involving ex-presidential masks after Lucky pulls out the Clinton mask from a paper bag. They both figure that whoever did this, knows as much as Dante knows. They think that Johnny might just level the playing field with Sonny and Lucky says that Johnny hasn't done too much harm yet. Dante reminds him that he shot at a cop. ...Like your dad? Lucky says it's ok because Johnny was aiming to miss.
Claire thinks Jason will make the perfect witness. She talks a big game about how much she's researched him and how prepared she is. Jason gets her to leave. I hope Claire's bite is worse than her bark.
Robin has brought Elizabeth back to her room at Shadybrook. She thanks Robin for all she's done and then goes on about how stressed she is and how Nikolas brought the kids to see her. She feels like a "bad mom". Robin stopped by Audrey's (when?) and has a card for Elizabeth from the boys. Elizabeth just can't wait to find out the results.
Nikolas talks about Lucky and Elizabeth's history. He admits that the baby could bring them together. He brings up Alexis and Sonny as an example. What? Alexis: "Listen, Sonny and I are not a situation to emulate on any level." Sing it, girl. Nikolas: "Your relationship has evolved to a point where you can defend him on murder charges". Touché, Nikolas. Touché.
Spinelli tells Maxie that someone tried to get into Bernie's place and eluded capture by jumping down two stories. Johnny, who overhears, thinks this is great and wants to toast! Spinelli knows it was Johnny and tells him he doesn't want to toast his path to destruction. Spinelli tells Maxie that he's worried that Johnny will destroy himself. Maxie understands that Johnny wants Sonny to pay for what he did to Johnny's sister.
Lucky says he tries to put his friendship with Sonny aside when going to work. Dante brings up the old adage, "love the sinner, hate the sin" which his mom always told him. Lucky says Dante's mom is a wise woman. Really? I think that's the worst, hypocritical, judgmental, self-important, condescending saying of all times. Lucky says he doesn't know what he'd do if he had to go after Luke the way they're going after Sonny. Dante says Sonny needs to be stopped and Lucky agrees. Ronnie (!) comes out of the interrogation room telling Dante and Lucky that the Feds have put together task-force to take down the mob in Port Charles including the three of them. Whoo hoo! It's like the A-team. Dante gets to be Face.
Carly receives the proofs from Josselyn's christening. Jax comes to look. They try to reconcile saying they want to fight for each other but Carly is still upset that Jax hasn't apologized for setting Sonny up.
Ronnie and Dante question each other's ethics or lack-of.
Maxie understands what it's like to have a sister murdered but Spinelli says revenge is not the answer. She admires Johnny for taking on his cause, having no one to back him up. At the bar, Coleman tells Johnny that his place is neutral territory. Ethan joins Johnny at the bar. Johnny tells him that Lucky showed up before he could get inside Bernie's.
Jason is getting a call from Bernie telling him about the break-in when Lucky shows up. He warns Jason not to go after Johnny because it's his job.
Nikolas arrives at the hospital asking Epiphany about Elizabeth. She tells Nik to ask Robin which he does. Robin assures Nikolas that Elizabeth is fine. Robin feels bad for not giving Nikolas better advice but he says it's OK.
Helena tells the lab technician that she wants to be the first to know the paternity of Elizabeth's baby and then she'll decide what to tell Lucky and Nikolas.
Nikolas tells Robin that she hopes things work out between him and Elizabeth and thanks Robin for her help. He walks over to the room that Helena is in.
Lucky wants Jason to understand that he'll take care of Johnny. Jason asks him if someone was trying to kill Luke, would he stand by? Lucky: "With all the people my dad has pissed off, I'd say he deserves it." Hee. Jason: "But would you stand by?" Lucky: "No." Jason: "Exactly." Well you showed him, Jason... And showed us your daddy-issues. Before he leaves, Lucky pleads one last time for Jason to stay out of it.
Johnny doesn't think the day was a full wash but I'm still unclear as to why. Ethan misses the cash but was happy to hang out with the "bombshell blonde" [sic]. He leaves to find her. Spinelli can tell that Maxie is drawn to Johnny. She says she's just worried about him as a friend, but he thinks she's attracted to the danger.
Jax and Carly argue the same old arguments. She still thinks it's all about Jax's vendetta. He can't believe she'd continue to endanger her kids after what happened with Michael. He makes it clear that he'll never allow Josselyn near Sonny. After he storms off, Carly finds something amongst the christening photos.
Lisa stops Nikolas before he goes into the conference room.
Crazy hangs up the pictures her kids drew. Alexis pays her a visit and comforts her and gives her some words of advice. Alexis brings up the trust.
I can't wait for the Oscars but when the announcer in this ad says "the hottest stars', they show four actors who will never win an Oscar. Namely, Taylor Lautner, Kirsten Stewart, Zac Efron and Miley Cirus.
Elizabeth is confused as to why Nikolas is setting up a trust. Alexis says that she just wants to make sure everyone is secure. Elizabeth tells Alexis that she's made it clear she's not going to be with Nikolas. Alexis lies that Nikolas isn't trying to change her feelings; he just wants everyone to be secure.
Nikolas opens the door but then decides to talk with Lisa outside which gives Helena and the lab tech a chance to flee unseen. Turns out Lisa helped Nikolas with something, but it seems unclear what exactly she helped with and if she knew exactly what she was doing. Before we find out, Steven interrupts and asks if Elizabeth is still at the hospital. Nikolas tells her that Robin took her back to Shadybrook. He goes and asks Epiphany how things went with Elizabeth and she assures him that everything went well. He leaves to go visit Elizabeth. What Lisa did: She sent the test results to an independent lab because Nikolas was worried about Helena.
Claire comes into the PCPD and approaches Dante. They banter and she warns him that he should probably leave.
Maxie massages Spinelli's ego and he buys it. Johnny sees someone (Lucky) in a Bill Clinton mask.
Carly comes to Jason's for help. Surprise, surprise. She tells Jax about the fight but more importantly what she found in the proofs: Franco's picture.
