Hospital chapel: In retrospect, Olivia thinks she should have told Dante the truth the moment she found out he was in Port Charles. Jax thinks he needs to tell his family soon. What are you waiting for, Jax? Olivia thinks it's ironic that Dante got shot because she was trying to protect him. It's like rain on her wedding day. These people need to stop throwing that word around.
Jason is trying to convince Carly to convince Sonny to leave the country. She thinks Jax will be furious with her if she does. Why? I think if Sonny is gone, whether it be jail or another country, it really wouldn't matter to jax.
Interrogation room: Sonny is brought in to talk to Diane...without handcuffs. Sonny wants to know how Dante is and Diane snarks that if he was dead, Sonny would be brought up on worse charges. Diane wants to talk about the case, specifically getting bail but Sonny just wants to know how Dante is doing. She brings up our phrase of the month, "Murder with special circumstances".
Dante still thinks he was dreaming about Sonny being his father. For some reason he pronounces Corinthos with a spanish accent. Lulu tells him that it's all true. Dante: Damn, I knew I was half latin, know-what-I'm-sayin'?
Jax tells Olivia he plans to tell Carly about his involvement. WHEN? They talk of shoulda woulda and couldas. Jax thinks Morgan didn't even know what Sonny did for a living. Really? Jax is afraid to tell Carly but Olivia encourages him to tell her before someone else does.
Carly and Jason argue some more about Sonny leaving the country. Carly argues that he will never leave his kids but Jason seems to be more concerned with Michael not going to jail. He thinks if Sonny leaves the country, then he'll look completely guilty and Michael will never be suspected.
Kids at the Jax's. Kristina and Morgan both think Michael is lying about killing Claudia. He explains what happened that night.
Sonny needs to get out. His claustrophobia isn't addressed; Sonny just wants to see his son. This whole scene makes my head hurt. Sonny is like six year old autistic child who doesn't understand life's rules or the logic that's coming out of his mom's mouth. He wants out of jail. He wants to make Dante understand that he's not a threat to him after he shot him. Diane doesn't get paid enough.
Dante can't wrap his mind around the truth of him and Sonny. He, like Lulu the other day, compares it to a tragic opera. Dante tells Lulu everything about when Sonny shot him. He fuzzily remembers his mom was there after he was shot and what she said. He suddenly realizes that his mom has been lying to him his whole life.
Lucky is playing pool. Mac asks him if he's OK and warns him that it's a bad idea for him to drink. He tries to be a supportive dad-like creature. Lucky just wants to have a drink. I'd side with Lucky on this if I knew the writers weren't itching to make him an alcoholic as well as an addict. I know sometimes the two are inseparable but I don't think that is or should be Lucky's case. Still - this is one of those instances where this show gets black and white.
Interrogation room where a murder and attempted cop-murder suspect is walking around without handcuffs. Has anyone discovered the missing gun yet? This station is such a joke. A cop (at least there's one manned outside) let's Carly in. She tells him that Dante woke up and is in ICU. The claustrophobia is hinted at but doesn't seem to be an issue anymore. He talks about the night that he, Dante and Olivia had Christmas dinner. He goes over the moments before and after he shot Dante.
Morgan thinks Michael is a hero for what he did. Molly thinks that Diane can get him out of it because it seems like self-defense but of course there's no more evidence. Alexis walks in and she notices that everyone shut up the moment she walked in the room.
Sam meets Jason at the apartment. He tells her that Carly is at the PCPD and may try to convince Sonny to flee. Seriously two seconds after Sam gets there, there is a knock at the door. There's only one elevator in that building and they're on the penthouse floor; that's one fast elevator! Ronnie is there with a few cops and a warrant to search the place revealing that he's a cop too. He says he wants to make it his personal mission to make Jason Sonny's prison cell bitch.
Mac still wants Lucky to quit with the drinking but his secret motive is that he wants Lucky to question Dante.
Olivia finally comes to see Dante. Lulu leaves them alone. He asks her if she was ever going to tell him the truth about Sonny.
Sonny blames himself for not knowing. Carly informs him that he's in a no-win situation.
The cops are searching while Ronnie questions Sam about owning a red wig. He suspects that the red-headed whore at the PCPD was Sam. The cops find nothing and leave. Ronnie warns Jason about being an accessory to murder one. Fortunately he doesn't use the phrase of the month. After he leaves, Jason worries about Sonny.
Jason and Sam talk about alibis and the possibility of her home being searched. She's not worried. Jason thinks if Sonny does skip bail, he'll lose his place. I guess Sonny owns Jason's apartment? Side note:I miss Sonny's penthouse. Sam says that if even if Jason loses everything, he'll still has her. That's comforting, Sam.
Nancy Grahn is working with four children. Poor thing. Alexis wants to know what they all know. They tell her. Molly thinks that it could all go away but Alexis isn't so optimistic. She tells Kristina specifically that it's okay to love Sonny and hate what he does. She says that there isn't one person in that room that Sonny wouldn't give up his life for. Except maybe Molly, I add.
Carly brings up Sonny fleeing the country and tries to convince him of doing it. She argues all the points. As usual, Sonny doesn't see the logic.
Olivia admits she never wanted Dante to know the truth but she also says she should have told him the moment she saw him in Port Charles. She gives him all the reasons we already know. He wants to know who knows and she lists the names. She also tells him of her trip to Agent Rayner's office. He calls his mom a liar.
Sam entertains the thought of Jason becoming a PI with her if he couldn't work for Sonny anymore. She also says he can move in with her. He jokes that if he moves in with her she'd have to wear her hooker boots at least once a week. Sexy humor! Who knew you were capable, Jason? Kiss interrupted by his cell - It's Diane.
Lulu sees Jax at the hospital. She talks frankly about how he was involved and wants him to tell Carly the truth before she does.
Diane informs Sonny that he gets bail but apparently it's set pretty high. We don't hear an exact figure.
Dante talks about his childhood. He's pretty angry with Olivia and she defends her choices. She compares him to Sonny. They rehash the same shoulda woulda couldas. She thinks he should rest and leaves when Dante gets touchy. Outside his room, Ronnie tells Olivia that things are about to get worse.
Jax meets Carly at home. She tells him she talked Sonny into jumping bail. He, in turn, tells Carly everything about what he knew.
Jason informs Sonny about a plan to get Sonny into Argentina
Olivia arrives at the PCPD. Mac will be taking her statement since Agent Rayner flew back to DC. I guess they didn't want to pay the actor anymore.
Lulu brings Dante coffee. Yeah, that's what he needs. He talks about Sonny and his mother. Lulu defends Olivia. Lucky comes in. He asks Dante if he's up to giving his statement. Lucky preps for the questioning and turns on a tape recorder.
Back and forth scene:
Sonny doesn't want to go away.
Mac and Ronnie want to know what Oliva saw.
Sonny doesn't want to leave his kids.
Lucky asks Dante how he got shot. With a gun, Lucky.
DUN!
